You did everything right.
The taper. The fuelling. The ice bath. The eight hours you blocked out in the calendar. And then a bedroom that will not drop below 29°C until four in the morning — because you rent, because there is no outdoor unit, because nobody said yes.
Your body has to shed heat before it can sleep, and a warm room will not let it. That is not a comfort problem. That is a recovery problem — and the room is the last variable in the stack that nobody has solved for.
It is measurable. Above 25°C at night, the chance of getting under seven hours of sleep rises by 3.5 percentage points — and almost all of that loss is people lying awake, not waking early. There is no magic number to hit. With a duvet over you, sleep is disturbed by heat and not by cold, which is why cooling the room is the one direction that has to be right.

Lower global warming potential than R410A — the refrigerant in most of the world's air conditioners.
friska M01 runs on 85 g of propane. The same gas as a camping canister. Natural refrigerants are not subject to the EU F-gas phase-down, so this machine does not have an expiry date.

A van at 35°C is not a recovery room. friska M01 runs on mains — or on 12/24/48 V DC, so the power station you already carry is enough.
